Landing Page Design Services: What to Expect

A landing page is a small project with a precise job, so a good proposal is short and specific. Here is what the service should deliver, what it costs and what to supply.

Short answer

Landing page design services typically cost EUR 360 to 2,700 for a single page when you supply the copy, based on 12 to 30 hours at EUR 30 to 90 an hour. Expect research, layout for desktop and phone, a built page, form and tracking setup, and a speed check. Writing, photography and testing cost extra unless the quote lists them.

What does a landing page design service deliver?

It delivers a single page built to produce one action, plus the setup that lets you measure it. Check that the proposal names each item below, because the cheapest quotes tend to leave several out.

Deliverable What it means in practice
Brief and research The goal, the audience, the ad or link that sends traffic, and what competing pages say
Page structure The order of sections, agreed before design
Design Desktop and phone layouts with your brand applied
Build The page live on your domain or builder, not an image file
Form and routing A form that reaches the right person, with a thank-you page
Tracking Analytics and a conversion event, so results are visible
Speed check A result against the Core Web Vitals targets, with fixes
Handover Logins, design files, licences

How much do landing page design services cost?

A single landing page typically costs EUR 360 to 2,700 when you supply the text. The figure is 12 to 30 planning hours at EUR 30 to 90 an hour. The hours are our assumptions, and the rate band sits between the lower-cost and UK bands in Clutch's web design pricing guide, which we read in November 2026. Clutch's guide also lists USD 100 to 149 an hour for the United States, Canada and Australia, so a supplier based there will price above this range.

Extra Planning hours At EUR 30 an hour At EUR 90 an hour
Copywriting for one page 4 to 10 EUR 120 EUR 900
Tracking and conversion setup 3 to 6 EUR 90 EUR 540
A second language version 4 to 8 EUR 120 EUR 720
Variant for an A/B test 3 to 6 EUR 90 EUR 540

Photography and stock images are priced separately. Our cost guide for building a website explains where the hourly band comes from.

Suppliers price landing pages in three ways. A fixed fee per page is easiest to compare. An hourly rate suits uncertain scope but needs a cap. A monthly retainer suits a series of pages and tests, and it should say how many pages or hours each month buys.

What should a landing page for a service business include?

A service business sells something people cannot see, so the page must make the service concrete. These elements matter most, beyond the general order of sections in our guide to designing a landing page that converts:

  • The service and the area, in the headline, in the same words as the ad.
  • What happens after the enquiry: a call within a stated time, a quote, a visit.
  • A price signal, such as "from" pricing or what affects the price, if you can give one.
  • Credentials and licences you actually hold.
  • Three or four steps of how the work is done.
  • Reviews and photos that are real and current.
  • The ways to reach you that customers use, such as a phone button or a form.
  • Answers to the two or three questions that stop people booking.

Google's Ads Help advice for landing pages supports this: match the page closely to the ad and keywords, mirror the ad's call to action, keep key information near the top, make contact easy, and avoid clutter.

What should you provide to get a good result?

Bring the answers a designer cannot invent:

  1. The exact offer and the price or price logic.
  2. The ad text, keywords or link that will send visitors.
  3. Your best three reviews and permission to use them.
  4. Photos of real work, or the budget to take them.
  5. The questions customers ask before they buy.
  6. Who receives the enquiry and how fast they reply.

If you cannot answer the last one, fix it before the page goes live. A fast page that sends enquiries to an unwatched inbox wastes the ad spend.

How do you judge a proposal?

Good sign Warning sign
Asks about the ad, the audience and what happens after the enquiry Starts with a template gallery
Lists deliverables and hours or a fixed price One number with no breakdown
Plans a speed check against the Core Web Vitals targets Says the page will be "fast"
States that you own the page, files and logins Hosts the page in the supplier's account only
Explains how success will be measured Promises a conversion rate

On that last row: Unbounce's 2024 report put the median landing page conversion rate at 6.6%, but it says industry and goal change the figure, so nobody can promise yours.

Is a landing page the right product?

Choose a landing page when you run paid ads or a campaign with one offer, and you can measure a single action. Choose a full website page when the visitor needs context and several routes, or when the page also has to rank in search over time. If the aim is to run ads, read what Google Ads cost, because the page and the ad budget work as one system.

For a written quote on a landing page or a full site, see our web design service. We quote in writing and do not publish a price list.

Frequently asked questions

How much for a landing page design?

A single page with copy supplied typically costs EUR 360 to 2,700 on our planning assumptions. Add roughly 4 to 10 hours for writing and 3 to 6 for tracking if they are not included, and the cost of any photography.

How long does it take to design a landing page?

It depends mostly on how quickly you supply copy and feedback, not on the design work itself. A single page has fewer approvals than a whole site, so the schedule is shorter. Agree dates for your inputs in the proposal.

Do I own the landing page after it is built?

You should. Ask for it in writing, along with the design files, any fonts or image licences, and the logins for the hosting or builder account. Ownership is a question of terms, so check the proposal before you pay a deposit.

Should I send ad traffic to a landing page or my website?

A focused landing page usually fits paid traffic better, because it makes one request and has few exits. A page on your site works if it is focused in the same way and loads quickly on a phone.
