Social Media Management in Cyprus
Whether social media management is worth buying depends on where your customers spend time and what a post can actually sell.
Short answer
A social media pricing guide dated May 2026 gives three monthly tiers in euros for small businesses: roughly EUR 300 to 700 for basic, EUR 700 to 1,500 for mid-tier and EUR 1,500 and up for premium. It does not say which country they apply to, and we found no Cyprus price list. Instagram and Facebook each reach about 55% of the population.
Where are Cypriots on social media?
DataReportal's 2026 report, using data mostly from October 2025, counts 760,000 social media user identities in Cyprus, equal to 55.3% of the population. Platform ad audiences, which are estimates and not unique people, were about 760,000 for Instagram, 746,000 for Facebook, 620,000 registered LinkedIn members and 390,000 for Pinterest. Facebook and Messenger audiences fell compared with 2024, though the report notes that some declines may reflect corrections in how platforms estimate reach.
Your competitors are already there. Eurostat data on enterprises with ten or more staff show 79.94% of Cyprus enterprises used social media in 2025, the same as in 2023, against an EU average of 63.57%. A crowded channel makes posting for its own sake a weak plan. Smaller firms may behave differently, since that survey excludes them.
What does it cost, and what do you get?
We found no Cyprus-specific price list for social media management. The only euro tiers we could source come from a social media pricing guide dated May 2026. It gives them in euros for small businesses and does not say which country they apply to, so treat them as a rough guide, not a Cyprus price list.
| Tier | Monthly, EUR | Typical scope in that guide |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | 300 to 700 | About 2 to 3 posts a week, 1 to 2 platforms, simple monthly report |
| Mid | 700 to 1,500 | About 3 to 6 posts a week, 2 to 3 platforms, report with recommendations |
| Premium | 1,500 to 3,000 or more | 7 or more posts a week, 3 to 5 platforms, paid social support, strategy calls |
The guide's post frequencies are our conversion from its monthly counts, and it notes that prices vary with agency size, location and experience. Cypriot quotes may land above or below these bands.
Worked example, illustrative
A clinic in Limassol pays EUR 600 a month for basic management. Over six months that is EUR 3,600. If a new patient is worth EUR 150 in first-year profit, the spend pays back after 24 new patients attributable to social, or four a month. Before signing, ask how the supplier will count patients who came from social, because many bookings happen by phone.
Choose it, or skip it
- Choose management if your product is visual or event-led, you have staff time to supply photos and answers, and the supplier will report enquiries and bookings, not likes.
- Skip it for now if customers find you through search, referrals or maps, if your website does not work well on a phone, or if nobody can reply to messages within a day.
- Do it yourself if you only need a steady presence and can post twice a week.
A 30-day test before you commit
You can learn most of what you need in a month, at low cost, before signing a long contract.
- Week 1. Pick one platform where your customers already are. Make sure the profile has your website link, hours, phone number and a clear description.
- Weeks 2 to 3. Post three times a week: a real photo of your work, a customer question answered, and a practical tip. Reply to every comment and message the same day.
- Week 4. Count what came from it: messages, calls, bookings, link clicks. Compare the time spent against what a supplier would charge.
If the month produced enquiries, you now know what to brief a supplier on. If it did not, you have saved the retainer. In both cases check that your website works well on a phone, because many visitors from social apps are on a phone.
What to put in the contract
- You own the accounts, and you are an administrator on every one.
- Content approval is clear: who approves, how fast, and what happens if nobody does.
- The monthly report names enquiries, bookings or sales where they can be tracked.
- The term is short enough to leave if the first quarter shows nothing.
- Greek and English content are written or checked by a fluent person.

Frequently asked questions
How much does social media management cost in Cyprus?
We found no Cyprus price list. A May 2026 social media pricing guide gives tiers of EUR 300 to 700, EUR 700 to 1,500 and EUR 1,500 to 3,000 or more per month, without saying which country they apply to. Ask local providers for written quotes with the same scope.
Which social platforms matter most in Cyprus?
DataReportal estimates Instagram and Facebook ad audiences of about 760,000 and 746,000 in late 2025, with 620,000 LinkedIn members. Those are platform estimates, not unique people, so match the platform to your customers.
Do I need social media management for my business?
Not always. If customers find you through search, referrals or Google Maps, your first money is better spent on the website and Google profile. Social suits businesses with visual products, events or a story people want to follow.
Does Sempor Labs manage social media accounts?
Social media management is not a core service for us. We work on websites, search, AI search, automation and fintech marketing. If social is the right channel for you, we will say so and tell you what to look for in a supplier.
