Web Design in Larnaca
Larnaca is where Cyprus meets the rest of the world by air and sea. The websites that earn their keep there are built for people in transit.
Short answer
Web design in Larnaca suits airport-linked services, logistics, trades and projects tied to new development. Larnaca airport handled about 7.7 million of the 10.7 million passengers at Cyprus airports from January to September 2025, 72%. Build quote-first sites for people in transit, and do not time a launch to a development plan.
What the airport tells you about Larnaca's customers
Many Larnaca customers are strangers passing through. Hermes Airports reported 10.7 million passengers across Larnaca and Paphos from January to September 2025, of which Larnaca handled 7.7 million and Paphos 3 million. In July 2025, Larnaca airport alone handled 1,201,023 passengers. Traffic has fallen since: in the first half of 2026 Hermes Airports counted 5.4 million passengers against 5.7 million a year earlier, with the decline mainly at Larnaca (3.8 million in the half).
The mix differs from Paphos. In July 2025, UK passengers made up 19% of traffic at Larnaca against 46% at Paphos, so Larnaca's flow depends less on one market. The district itself is smaller than Limassol or Nicosia: 155,765 residents in the 2021 census, 16.9% of the government-controlled total, with 19.2% holding foreign citizenship. In our October 2026 data, "web design larnaca" gets about 10 Google searches a month.
Plan for a customer who wants something specific, fast, and often searches from a phone: a transfer, a hire car, a freight quote, a tradesperson, a hotel near the terminal.
Two kinds of Larnaca site
The quote-first site. Used by logistics, courier, freight, trades and installers. The visitor wants a price, a timeline and proof you cover their area. Build the page around the quote form: weight or size, origin and destination, dates, contact details, and a promise about reply time that you can keep. Show your coverage area in words, not just on a map.
The in-transit site. Used by transfers, parking, car hire, short-stay accommodation and cafes near transport links. The visitor may have a few minutes between a landing and a pickup. Prioritize a phone number that is tappable, WhatsApp if you answer it, hours and a pin on the map, then price and booking.
| Question | Quote-first site | In-transit site |
|---|---|---|
| First thing on the page | What you handle and where | Phone, hours, map |
| Main conversion | Quote request | Call or booking |
| Content that earns trust | Service detail, coverage, terms | Reviews, clear prices, arrival instructions |
| Common failure | Form with too many fields | Menu or price list as a PDF |
What an airport-linked business should publish
People who land in a new place need answers they cannot ask in person. A transfer, parking or hire-car page should state, in plain words:
- where the meeting point or pickup is, with a photo of the spot
- what happens if a flight is late, and how long you wait
- the full price, including baggage and waiting time, and what is extra
- how to cancel or change a booking, and by when
- a phone or WhatsApp number that is answered at the hours shown
Test it by asking someone who has never used your service to book from their phone, standing outside, and count the taps. Every one you remove helps.
The port and marina plan: do not build around a date
Larnaca's seafront is in the news. In July 2026 the Cyprus Ports Authority presented a EUR 415 million programme: about EUR 205 million for the port through 2045, EUR 190 million for marina land between 2027 and 2036, and about EUR 20 million for the marina. In October 2026 the press reported that the marina cannot be handed directly to the Ports Authority and may need an open tender, leaving the roadmap in limbo.
For a business owner the lesson is practical. Do not hold back a website until a development opens, and do not promise customers a location that does not exist yet. Build for the business you run today, with pages and a Google listing that can be edited when the neighbourhood changes. If you work for developers or contractors on new-build projects, ask us about project microsites that you can retire or merge when a project ends.
Selling online from Larnaca
Several Larnaca firms sell goods to customers across the island or abroad. If that is you, the build has extra decisions: delivery zones, payment methods, VAT display and returns. Read our guide to selling online in Cyprus and our page on online store development in Cyprus before you pick a platform.
How we work with Larnaca businesses
Sempor Labs is based in Limassol, with no office in Larnaca. We work with Larnaca businesses remotely, by video call and email, and we quote in writing. We would start with the Google Maps guide, because for airport-linked and local trade the map listing can matter as much as the homepage.
Choose us if you want a written scope and are happy to work remotely. Look elsewhere if you want a supplier with a long list of Larnaca projects to show your board. To discuss a build, use the web design page or the contact page.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a web design for a Larnaca business?
One web studio based outside Cyprus estimated in October 2026 that freelancers in Cyprus charge about EUR 1,200 to 4,500 and local agencies EUR 4,000 to 18,000 and up for a professional firm's website. It calls these ballparks, not official figures, and it sells websites itself. Quote forms, booking and extra languages are the usual add-ons.
What is a web design example for a Larnaca logistics company?
As an illustration, a freight or courier firm needs a quote request form that captures weight, route and dates, pages per service, a clear coverage area and a contact route that reaches a person during working hours.
Does the Larnaca port and marina redevelopment affect my website plans?
Not directly. The EUR 415 million programme includes about EUR 205 million for the port through 2045 and EUR 190 million for marina land between 2027 and 2036, and as of October 2026 press reported a legal problem that could delay the marina part. Build for the customers you have now.
Do you work with Larnaca businesses without an office there?
Yes. Sempor Labs is based in Limassol and has no office in Larnaca. We work with Larnaca businesses remotely, by video call and email, and we quote in writing.
