How Much Does a Website Cost in Cyprus?

There is no independent price survey for Cyprus, so here are the estimates we found, how to read them and how to compare quotes properly.

Short answer

One web studio based outside Cyprus estimates freelancers there charge about EUR 1,200 to 4,500 for a professional firm's website and local agencies EUR 4,000 to 18,000 and up, while a Limassol agency lists online shops from EUR 4,000. These are sellers' figures, not an independent survey. Compare at least three written quotes for the same brief.

What price figures are published for Cyprus?

We checked the pages that publish actual euro figures in November 2026. Few Cypriot suppliers list prices, and the ones that do are selling something, so read each number as an asking price. The freelancer and agency ranges come from one web studio based outside Cyprus, in an October 2026 article that calls them ballparks, not official figures. It sells websites itself.

Option Published range Where it comes from What the seller says is included or left out
Freelancer, business website EUR 1,200 to 4,500 One web studio's October 2026 estimate (not Cypriot sellers' own price lists) Copy rarely included, support case by case
Local agency, business website EUR 4,000 to 18,000 and up Same estimate Copy and photography often billed separately, maintenance a separate contract
Entry e-shop From EUR 4,000 A Limassol agency's June 2026 guide First year of hosting and care, JCC or Stripe payments, SEO basics
Advanced e-shop From EUR 8,000 Same guide Stock or ERP sync, trade accounts, several languages
Marketplace or large platform From EUR 15,000 Same guide Multi-vendor selling, integrations
Hosting, domain, email (shop, from year two) From EUR 390 a year Same guide SSL and automatic backups included

The same Limassol agency says most of its own projects land between EUR 2,000 and 8,000. The pages we read do not make clear whether their figures include VAT. Ask.

Why there is no neutral number

We could not find an independent survey of what Cypriot businesses actually pay. Every euro figure above comes from a company that sells websites. That does not make them wrong, but it does mean the ranges are wide, the inclusions differ and the lowest figure may not include things you assume are standard.

Interest in the question is high. DataForSEO estimates about 14,800 monthly prompts to AI assistants for "how much will a website cost" in the US (our October 2026 pull), so many buyers may have seen a generic AI answer before they call a Cypriot supplier. The answer is a starting point, not a quote.

What moves the price

  • Languages. A Greek and English site is not twice the work, but copy, checking and ongoing updates double.
  • Copy and photography. If the supplier writes the text and arranges photography, the bill rises. If you supply both, it falls. Check who is responsible.
  • Page types, not page count. Ten similar service pages cost little more than five. A booking flow, a calculator or a members area costs a lot more.
  • Integrations. Booking, payments, CRM, stock systems and email tools each add build and testing time.
  • Speed and structure for search. Good pages load quickly on phones and have clear URLs and headings. Ask whether this is included or an extra.
  • Moving an old site. Redirects and content migration protect your Google traffic and take time.

A three-year cost, as an illustration

Prices alone mislead because running costs repeat. This table combines the published ranges with two assumptions: EUR 390 a year for hosting, domain and email, taken from the e-shop guide and applied to all three years, and EUR 100 a month for maintenance, taken from the October 2026 comparison's agency scenario. It is illustrative arithmetic, not a quote.

Route Build Hosting, domain, email (3 years) Three-year total Total with EUR 3,600 maintenance
Freelancer, low end EUR 1,200 EUR 1,170 EUR 2,370 EUR 5,970
Freelancer, high end EUR 4,500 EUR 1,170 EUR 5,670 EUR 9,270
Agency, low end EUR 4,000 EUR 1,170 EUR 5,170 EUR 8,770
Agency, high end EUR 18,000 EUR 1,170 EUR 19,170 EUR 22,770

The overlap is the useful finding. A high-end freelancer build and a low-end agency build land close together, so the choice between them is about service and risk, not price alone.

Which route fits your situation?

  • Choose a website builder if you need a simple site fast, you are comfortable editing it yourself and your business does not depend on search or complex features. See Wix vs a custom site.
  • Choose a freelancer if you have a clear brief, supply the content and can live without a formal support contract.
  • Choose an agency or studio if you need several people, a defined process, copy and design in one place, or ongoing support in writing.
  • Wait if you do not yet know what the site must achieve. A day spent writing the goal is cheap compared with rebuilding a site that missed it.

Ways to spend less without a worse site

  • Write the copy yourself, then pay for an edit. Supplying text cuts the supplier's time, and an editor catches what you cannot see.
  • Launch with the pages that bring enquiries. Add the rest later. Five good pages beat fifteen thin ones.
  • Take photos on a decent phone before paying for a shoot. Commission professional images only for the pages where trust depends on them.
  • Buy one language well first. Add the second when you can keep both up to date.
  • Keep accounts in your name. Domain, hosting and analytics under your control avoid paying a ransom to move later.
  • Ask for a fixed scope and fixed price. Open-ended hourly work is the usual source of surprises.

Ten lines to put in every quote request

  1. Number and type of pages
  2. Languages, and who writes and checks each
  3. Who supplies photography and copy
  4. Features and integrations, priced one by one
  5. Hosting, domain and email: who pays, whose name they are in
  6. Maintenance and support: hours, response time, cost
  7. Whether VAT is included. At the standard Cyprus rate of 19%, a EUR 3,000 quote becomes EUR 3,570 with VAT
  8. Payment schedule and what happens at each milestone
  9. Who owns the files, design and content after payment
  10. What happens if you leave

Sempor's prices

We do not publish prices, because they depend on the points above. We quote in writing after a short scoping conversation. If you want to compare us against other suppliers, our web design page explains what we build, and the contact page is the place to send a brief.
